Drums

I have been playing drums since joining the school band in 7th grade. I went on to march Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps and Jacksonville State University Southerners. Since around 1992, I have been playing drumset with a number of local and touring bands.

I started transcribing lyrics for various bands I played with over the years. You can find the lyric sheets here. These are my interpretation of other artists' works so no guarantee as to the accuracy.

I am usually playing a DW 4pc VMP set or sometimes various Ludwig sets.

Here are some pictures of a DW set that I refinished. Note the creative use of hardware, two cymbals and two toms on one stand. This one has been sold.

This is simply a workhorse of a drumset. Easy to get a great sound and looks great under lights.

DW 4pc Collectors Series Vintage Marine Pearl

These Legacy Classics are too loud for most applications. The thin shells project the attack but without as much sustain as the DW's.

Ludwig Legacy Classic Green Sparkle

Birch Genistas are sweet in the studio but not loud enough on stage for Rock and Roll.
